Sydney FM stations won’t give Rick up easily

In a rare inter-station link-up not seen since the Charles and Diana wedding, Sydney’s Music Diretors have conspired to play the same song at the same time.

2Day FM, Triple M, Mix 106.5, Nova969 and vega 95.3 all broke format to play Rick Astley’s Never Gonna Give You Up in response to the Rick Astley resurgence from the now famous “You’ve Been Rick Rolled“ email that’s doing the rounds.

In an unprecedented move, all five stations played the song at the same time – at 1.05 am Thursday morning.
